G4G Denver Responding to Last-Minute DUG Need!

Denver Urban Gardens had a volunteer group cancel, so G4G Denver is gathering 10+ volunteers for a garden service project at Fairview Elementary Community Garden this weekend! We’ll be helping with general clean up, cutting suckers from trees, cleaning up the shed, and getting the garden ready for an outdoor classroom. Time to cultivate a new community connection – you dig?

Denver Urban Gardens’ mission is to provide the access, skills, and resources for people to grow healthy food in community and regenerate urban green spaces. They currently operate 190 community gardens throughout Metro Denver, including more than 70 school-based community gardens.

Project Tasks: Help with general clean up, cutting suckers from trees, cleaning up the shed, and getting the garden ready for an outdoor classroom.

What to bring

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed toe shoes, hat, and bring your water bottle. DUG will provide the tools, snacks, water, & music! (Heyyyyyyyyyy)
