G4G Denver + Broken Shovels
October 19, 2024
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
G4G Denver is partnering with Broken Shovels to give a comfortable life to animals! 🐄🐑🐐🐖🐔🐓
Love animals? Want to hang with them? Willing to get a little dirty cleaning up their living spaces, assembling fences, and tackling tasks that keep the farm going and the residents comfortable? We are excited to volunteer at Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary!
We’ll start our shift with a couple of hours of farm labor, and wrap with some quality time with our new animal friends. Broken Shovels has many beloved residents, including sheep, goats, chickens, roosters, pigs, cows, guinea fowls, and more.
Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary is a place for homeless, abused, neglected, used, formerly slaughter-bound animals, a place of healing, growth and education for all people who wish to see the world become a better place for all animals, human and non-human. They host events to connect farm animals to their human friends, and vice versa, and provide a safe place for the animals to share their love and their voice with our human visitors.
