What: Writing cards of encouragement for LGBTQ+ youth & a Mardi Gras social!

When: Tuesday, February 16th (7-8 PM)

Where: From the safety of your own home (via GoogleMeet: https://meet.google.com/mtv-xawy-fzk)

Let’s melt the ‘winter blues’ with the warmth of friendship and the spirit of love! We will gather virtually with old friends (& new) on the evening of Tue, February 16th, to celebrate Mardi Gras and write cards of encouragement for the LGBTQ+ youth of SMYAL.

Participants will be encouraged to purchase/create and fill-out 5-10 cards (or as many as they’d like!) for at-risk LGBTQ+ youth in the DC area. Completed cards can be mailed or dropped-off at the following address (by Friday, February 22nd at the latest):
