It’s Time To Be Thankful

Join Gay for Good DC as we partner with Shepherd’s Table the Sunday before Thanksgiving to prepare and serve brunch to its guests.  G4G DC’s volunteers will set up the dining room, help with food prep, serve meal, wash dishes and help clean the kitchen and dining room area after the meal.

Time: 8:45 am – 12:00 pm

Location: Shepherd’s Table | 8106 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD | 10 minute walk from the Silver Spring metro station

Dress Code:    While the volunteer dress code is casual, Shepherd’s Table asks that we not wear revealing clothing, skirts or shorts that stop above the knee, thin spaghetti strap shirts or shirts that expose your midriff. Additionally, please do not wear clothes with political/religious messages. This volunteer opportunity is in a professional setting, and Shepherd’s Table wants to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone. Lastly, all volunteers must wear close toed, non-slip shoes for safety.
