G4G DC + Lutheran Social Services (Hygiene Hope Kits for Refugees)

Bring a blanket and join G4G DC as we pack personal hygiene hope kits on the National Mall that will help Afghan and other refugees!

Volunteers will pack hygiene hope shoebox kits with supplies to help welcome our new neighbors and to let them know we are glad they are here.

Note: You can help G4G DC purchase supplies by shopping our wishlist, and/or are welcome to bring your own items.

Participants are asked to adhere to DC/CDC COVID precautions. And as you wish, wear your own mask and bring your own beverages for hydration.

When: Saturday, September 25th (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Where: National Mall – Washington Monument Grounds between Washington Monument and 17th St SW/World War II Memorial (Metro: Smithsonian [Blue/Orange/Silver])

Additional Information: Please plan to join us for an after-project brunch nearby or at the food trucks in the area.
