G4G DC + Boo at the Zoo (October 2022)

WHAT: Come join us as we volunteer to pass-out candy to trick-or-treaters at the Smithsonian National Zoo’s annual ‘Boo at the Zoo’ event! We’re limited to 10 volunteer spots, so feel free to register by Monday, October 24.

WHEN: Sunday, October 30, 2022 (4:30 – 9:00 PM)

WHERE: Smithsonian National Zoo (3001 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008)

NEAREST METRO STATION: Woodley Park or Cleveland Park Metro Stations (Red Line)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Volunteers will also have to create a free account via the Smithsonian’s ‘volunteer portal’ to complete their registration.
• Check-in begins at 4:30 PM, and the shift will last from 5-9 PM that evening.
• The event will be held outdoors, so volunteers should dress accordingly.
