G4G Dallas-Fort Worth + Wreaths Across America | January 18, 2025

Volunteer With G4G as We Partner With Wreaths Across America

Join us to remove the Remembrance Wreaths that we placed on the graves in December.

Date: Saturday, January 18, 2025 (new date)

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Location: Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home,  7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225

Ages: All ages are welcome

Transportation/Parking: There is a driveway into the cemetery from Hillcrest Road which is on the far west side of the cemetery. The entrance is between Temple Emanuel and a wall with concrete globes upon it.

As you enter the cemetery there is a Section named ‘Mausoleum Garden’ on your right and there is a small mausoleum there with a parking area along the right.

What To Wear: The weather will be cold so hats, work gloves, and warm clothes are strongly advised. The ground could be wet and muddy, so wear suitable shoes or boots.

What to Bring: Not required but broomsticks (without the broom) are surprisingly effective for gathering multiple wreaths at a time. We also recommend bringing a garden wagon and/or a tarp if you own these items to make it easier to transport wreaths.
