WHAT: This month we will be honoring our vets through the Honor Flight program. Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Vets are flown to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials and then returned in the evening. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
We will be working the evening shift as we welcome the vets home and escort them through the gauntlet to their families.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Please register by 7PM Wed, Oct 16th as volunteer names will be released to Honor Flight on the 17th. On the evening of the event, please arrive by 8pm to allow time for sign-in and instructions.
