G4G Columbus + Garden District Columbus

Join G4G Columbus as we partner for the first time with The Garden District Columbus to harvest, weed and prune delicious vegetables from a local community garden. The produce that is harvested will then be donated to LSS Food Pantry to help fight food insecurity in Ohio. After harvesting, snacks and cold beverages will be provided at their residential garden on a beautifully renovated patio.

Date: Saturday August 28th, 2021

Time: 2pm-5pm

Where: Stoddart Ave Community Garden (451 Stoddart Ave, Columbus, OH 43215)

Additional details: We will be meeting at Stoddart Ave Community Garden where we will do the harvesting. Afterwards, we are invited to Garden District’s residential garden for some snacks and beverages, which is only 2 minutes away (address will be provided after registration). Parking is free on Stoddart Ave. Please dress for outdoor activity and bring a pair of gloves for yourself. In addition, don’t forget to apply sunscreen beforehand and bring a thermos/water bottle to stay hydrated. Water and snacks will be provided at the event.
