Volunteer with Gay for Good at Color Me Queer, a Dance Party and Fundraiser for Queer & Trans BIPOC at NYC Pride
Volunteer with us as we support GAPIMNY, Q-Wave, SALGA NYC, TARAB NYC, and the Caribbean Equality Project at their Color Me Queer Event. This awesome pride fundraiser & party helps support queer and trans BIPOC communities.
Volunteers will help with registration/check-in and other on-site event support in 1.5 hour shifts. Plus, all volunteers will get to join the party for FREE and receive 1 drink ticket for each shift (good for any kind of drink, non-alcoholic & otherwise).

IMPT: In addition to registering with G4G NYC all volunteers MUST also sign up on Color Me Queer’s form where you will choose which shifts you are available for. Details and link to register will be provided in your confirmation email from Gay For Good. Color Me Queer is a safe space for our queer and trans BIPOC communities to gather in celebration of our diversity, our strength, and our love!
Accessibility
All restrooms are gender inclusive. Everyone is free to use the restroom that best fits their gender identity or expression. There are staircases to the basement and second floor. Only the first floor space is wheelchair accessible. Strobe lights are used during performances and parties.

The Caribbean Equality Project builds political power for New York City’s Afro and Indo-Caribbean community through civic engagement, voter registration, public education, and legislative advocacy.
GAPIMNY is an all-volunteer, membership-based community organization with the mission to empower queer and trans Asian Pacific Islanders (East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, and Mixed-Race people) to create positive change.
SALGA NYC is a social, political, and support group for queer and trans people who trace their descent from the South Asian region from the countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma (Myanmar), India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Tibet as well as people of South Asian descent from countries such as Guyana, Trinidad and Kenya.
TARAB NYC fosters an inclusive and safe community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and/or gender non-conforming Arab, Middle Eastern, and/or North African people in the greater New York City area.
Q-Wave is a grassroots organization of lesbian, bisexual, trans, and queer women, trans men, and gender non-conforming/non-binary/trans folks of East Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian, West Asian, and Pacific Islander descent.
