Join G4G and the Chicago Park District for a Park Beautification Project
Volunteers will be helping with park improvements and beautification, including cleaning up and mulching at one of our community parks, Jonquil Park.
Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
Time: 10am – 1pm
Location: Jonquil Park, 1001 W. Wrightwood Ave, Chicago, IL 60614
Volunteer Slots: 35
Ages: All are welcome with adult supervision.

What To Wear/Bring: Please wear closed toed shoes. Gay for Good has some gloves but if you have gardening gloves of your own, please bring them! Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring water and sunscreen.
Parking/Transportation: Take the Red, Brown, or Purple line to Fullerton, or the 74 bus to Fullerton/Sheffield, and walk 3 blocks north on Sheffield to N. Sheffield and W. Wrightwood. The park is on the corner of Sheffield/Wrightwood/Lincoln Avenues. Residential parking is available surrounding the park.
