     April 20, 2024
     9:45 am - 1:00 pm

Join G4G Chicago as we again partner with Friends of the Forest Preserves in helping to restore LaBagh Woods. This uncommon woodland community encompasses wet savanna, marsh, and mature floodplain woods, and is dominated by swamp white oaks. During this event we will be planting Maple-Leaf Viburnum and Native Wahoo trees.

Tools and gloves will be supplied. Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy shoes that they don’t mind getting dirty/muddy.

Date: Saturday, April 20
Time: 9:45am–1pm
Location: LaBagh Woods

Signs will be up in the forest preserve to point to the location on the day of the event. Parking is available. The CTA bus system also has nearby stops (requires about a 5-10 minute walk to get to the meetup location in LaBaugh Woods).

Age Requirement: 16 and older (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

Project Lead: Sean
