Join G4G Chicago as We Partner With Cradles to Crayons

We’ll be making magic happen in The Giving Factory! Volunteers will be sorting, quality checking, packaging and preparing donated items to be sent to children in the Chicagoland area in need.

Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024

Time: 1:15pm – 3:30pm

Location: 2500 W Bradley Pl, Chicago, IL 60618 (go to the back parking lot!)

Volunteer Slots: 40

Ages: 5+ (a guardian is required to be present for volunteers 5-15 years old)

Transportation/Parking: CTA Bus: 49, 80, 152.  Parking is available on site.

What To Wear/Bring: Please wear closed toed shoes and bring your own reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!

Additional Details: This is a two-step sign up. After receiving a confirmation of sign up with Gay for Good, volunteers will receive the link to sign up with our group on our partner’s website.

About Our Partner: Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.
