Cradles to Crayons has organized a special Pride month volunteer event for Gay For Good Chicago. Volunteers will quality check, sort, package, and prepare new or gently used clothes to go to disadvantaged kids throughout the Chicago area.
Date: Saturday, June 1
Time: 1:15–3:30pm
Location: 2500 W Bradley Pl, Chicago, IL 60618 (Parking is available behind building near Cradles to Crayons entrance (look for their purple and yellow Cradles to Crayons signs)
Once you sign up, please be sure to complete Cradles to Crayons’ waiver (the link will be in your confirmation email.)
What to Wear: Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and close-toed shoes. The warehouse that is climate controlled, but please keep the weather in mind and dress accordingly.
What to Bring: A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. The warehouse does have water filling stations.
Age Requirement: 5+ (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
COVID Guidelines: If you are experiencing any COVID or flu-like symptoms, please follow the recommended CDC guidelines.

About Our Partner: Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.
