Volunteer for Cradles to Crayons 4/11

Join G4G – Chicago in volunteering with the Cradles to Crayons. As we volunteer at C2C, together we work towards the vision that every child should have the essentials they need to feel safe, warm, ready to learn, and valued and make sure Chicagoland’s most under-served kids have everything they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play.

The top priority is to always keep staff, volunteers, and the families we serve safe. C2C has instituted new safety guidelines for the warehouse and ask that interested community members please review them here before volunteering with us.

The Giving Factory is a warehouse environment. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and layered clothing they do not mind getting dirty. Volunteers work in stations to inspect, sort and package donations alongside other individuals and groups.

You can help out even more by providing a donation. They accept gently used clothing, shoes, toys, books, and more. You can find the full donation guidelines here.

***Additionally, if you fall into any category of a high risk individual, please stay at home. Thank you for you cooperation during these ever evolving changes.
