G4G Chicago + Care For Real | November 18, 2023

For this event, we will be assisting with outdoor food distribution. You may be packing carts of food, bringing food outside to clients, packing bags, or stocking shelves.

Date: Saturday, November 18
Time: 8:30am–1:15pm
Location: 5339 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60640—Walk down the driveway on the left (north) side of the building to the back and go through the gray double doors marked Care for Real. (Street parking is very limited. Please take the CTA or ride shares if possible.)

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can bend and lift in, and closed-toe shoes. You will likely be outside so plan to dress for the weather. Feel free to bring your own bottled water, coffee, or whatever you like. Beverages and snacks will be available.

COVID Guidelines: All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Boosters are highly recommended. Volunteers will be asked for verbal confirmation of vaccination status. Masks are optional. Please cancel if you are not feeling well.
