Join G4G for a Return Visit to Nubia Farms!

We will be helping to support the food production process for Boston area farmers markets and food banks! We will engage in tasks like weeding, planting, harvesting etc.!

Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025

Time: 9am – 12pm

Location: 90 Concord Rd, Lincoln, MA 01773 (*Nubia’s parcel of land is leased from The Food Project’s Baker Bridge Farm– to the immediate right once coming off Concord Road.)

What To Wear/Bring: Wear closed toed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty! Please dress for the weather! Bring rain gear just in case of light drizzles. Project will be only be subject to cancellation for extreme weather. Feel free to bring water/snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat or anything else to make yourself comfortable, as we will be outside for the entirety of the project.

Parking/Transportation: Parking is available directly next to the Nubia land parcel! This site is less accessible from public transportation, so if you need support with carpooling, please let us know and we can try to connect you with folks traveling from your neighborhood!

Additional Details: Porta Potty Bathrooms are available a short walk from Nubia’s parcel of land. These are monitored and maintained by the Food Project.

About Our Partner: Nubian United Benevolent International Association (NUBIA) is a nonprofit urban development located in Boston Massachusetts. NUBIA was founded in 2008 to reduce the impact of food insecurity in the Boston Metropolitan area and create an environment where families are able to learn how to be self-sufficient. Through sustainable gardening along with educational classes, NUBIA has been able to shape local communities.
