Event: American Red Cross Food Pantry

Place: 1033 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA (entrance on Proctor Street)

Date/Time: Wednesday, April 20, 2022  8AM-12 Noon

Details:

• Distributing 1500 bags of food to clients
• Sorting and bagging of groceries
• Loading bags onto client vehicles

G4G members requested: Maximum of 8

Access:

• Parking available on-site (rear of building)
• Public Transportation: Nearest T Station is Andrew Square/Red line.  Also, Route 8 bus.

Special Notes:

• Some of the work will be done outdoors. Therefore, be sure to dress in weather appropriate clothing
• This is an incredible event to participate in because you can see the smiles and hear the gratitude of the clients. Your help is critical in providing the clients with desperately needed food.
• Past volunteers have found this event to be very meaningful and enjoyable.
