Let’s Honor Our Veterans!

Join us as we partner with Wreaths Across America to participate in Wreaths Out Day and help the Little Rock National Cemetery look it’s best in honor of our veterans!

Activities include: Picking up the wreaths and returning the cemetery to its previous condition.

Volunteers should be able to walk for 2 hours and lift 30–40 pounds.

Guidance for Volunteers:

• Give vehicles and heavy equipment the right of way.

• Remove Wreaths Across America wreaths only. Leave all other wreaths/decorations in place.

• Place wreaths in designated area for pickup.

• When dumpsters are filled, carry remaining wreaths to unfilled dumpsters. Please do not place wreaths outside of dumpsters or anywhere else in the cemetery.

• Please follow instructions from staff to ensure the safety of visitors.

Age Requirement: Must be 14 years or older to volunteer for this event (14 and 15 year olds will need a chaperone present).

What To Bring & Wear: Please dress for the cold weather and wear something you can get dirty. The ground may be wet and muddy, so wear closed toed work boots,  work gloves, and bring bottled water. Please, feel free to bring other things you might use to move several wreaths at one time (e.g., poles, ropes, and tarps).
