Hello G4G Volunteers, Let’s Beautify an Arkansas State Park!
Join us as we help the Plantation Agriculture Museum look it’s best in honor of the Arkansas State Parks’ Centennial celebration!
Activities include: Pulling weeds, removing excess and invasive plants, cleaning out flower beds, and removing tin from raised beds.
Date: Saturday, November 4
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Location: Plantation Agriculture Museum, 4815 AR Hwy 161 South Scott, AR 72142
Age Requirement: Must be 14 years or older to volunteer for this event (14 and 15 year olds will need a chaperone present).
What To Bring & Wear: Please wear something you can get dirty in, closed toed shoes, and bring work gloves, garden shears or pruners. Please, feel free to bring other things you might use in the garden (e.g., trowels, cultivator hand rake, hand held shovel, mini rakes, and knee protectors).
