Hello G4G Volunteers, Let’s Beautify Our Beloved Park!
Join us as we partner with the City of Little Rock on National Public Lands Day by helping LR Parks and Recreation clean up Rock Creek Trail. Volunteers will be able to cut back invasive species, clear out the trail and pick up litter throughout the park and surrounding streets. All ages are welcome.
Lunch will be served at 11:30am.
Date: Saturday, September 28
Time: 9:00am – 11:30am
Location: Rock Creek Trail & Surrounding Streets, 200 N. Bowman (Behind the strip mall), Little Rock, Arkansas, 72211
Age Requirement: Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
What To Bring & Wear: Please wear something you can get dirty in, closed toed shoes, work gloves, sun protection, bug spray, and bring a water bottle.
What To Bring If You Can: weedeater, lopers, litter grabbers, garden shears or pruners.
IF you want to get in the creek, please wear waders or tall waterproof boots
The park has a small number of tools available for use. Gas-powered weed eaters may be used. Garbage bags will be provided.
