Join us and our friends at Bruce-Monroe Elementary School for our August volunteer event!
Join us as we volunteer with our friends at Bruce-Monroe Elementary School for School Beautification Day. The school year starts two days after this event.

Where to meet? Gay for Good Volunteers will meet at the school entrance on Warder Street at 8:45 am to distribute name tags.
Number of Volunteers? 20
What will we be doing? Projects include helping the teachers prepare their classrooms, painting of classrooms and cleaning up the school yard and garden. Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
We also hope that you join us for lunch after the event at Midlands Beer Hall! Attendance is fully optional and attendees will be responsible for their own food and beverage costs. Full details will be announced via email closer to the event date.
Bruce-Monroe ES @ Park View is a preschool to 5th grade elementary school in the Columbia Heights/Parkview neighborhoods. Located in the historic Park View building, Bruce-Monroe ES @ Park View provides a dual language program (English/Spanish).
