Brian Paul Allen (he/him)
Board Chair

Brian has dedicated his professional career to building philanthropic cultures and fundraising expertise within organizations, particularly in social and human service sectors, LGBTQIA+ justice initiatives, and higher education. Brian consulted at CCS Fundraising, a world-renowned nonprofit consulting firm and successfully led various scopes of work, including campaign management and assessments that encompassed prospect research, staff growth plans, feasibility studies, and comprehensive development plans.

Prior to his time at CCS, Brian contributed to the Major and Principal Gifts team at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business where  he focused on cultivation strategies for major and principal donors and led the development of a 3-year regional strategic plan.

Brian is an active volunteer and currently serves on the development committee for the American LGBTQ+ Museum’s inaugural capital campaign. Brian also chairs the steering committee for Denison University’s LGBTQIA+ Alumni Association in addition to serving as a Gay for Good board member and Chair of the Development Committee.
