Volunteers can sign up for one or both shifts. A separate email will be sent for registration details with the Flags for Fallen Vets portal.

Placement: Sunday, May 28  •  Removal: Saturday, June 3
Time: 9am–11am
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 (You may park in the cemetery, or on side streets – Please do not block ANY roads)

What to bring: A ruler to measure 12″ from the headstones (paint stir sticks work well, too!) and a screwdriver or something sturdy for pilot holes to sink flags 5″ into the ground (please make sure to mark them for 5″).  Rain gear (if the weather requires it) and water if you’d like.

All ages are welcome.

About our partner: Flags for Fallen Vets was established on May 14th, 2012 for the purpose of ensuring an American flag is placed upon every veterans grave site at each National Cemetery in the country for Memorial Day. There are close to 800,000 interred American Veterans across the country that are not given this Hallowed Honor.
