Volunteer With G4G OC/Long Beach at This Year’s Best Buddies Friendship Walk!

Join G4G OC/Long Beach as we partner with Best Buddies International for their annual Friendship Walk! Volunteers are needed to assist with full event. This is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD).

Date: Sunday, April 30, 2023

Time:

Event set-up from 6am-8am

Registration from 8am-10am

Location: Shoreline Aquatic Park
200 Aquarium Way Long Beach, CA 90802 (head toward the lighthouse)

Parking: The nearest parking garage is at the Aquarium (99 Golden Shore, Long Beach, CA 90802). Fees apply. There are other parking garages/lots in the area. You can find more information here https://www.parklb.com/parking-lotsgarages/

Additional details: Shoes should be closed toe and comfortable. This event is outdoors so a water bottle and sunscreen are also recommended.

Age requirement: Volunteers under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
