G4G Raleigh Durham + Habitat For Humanity OC | February 10, 2024

Join us for our very first building project with the Orange County chapter of Habitat for Humanity! They are hosting a special Pride Build, which “is an initiative that focuses on the unique housing issues faced by LGBTQIA+ and more specifically, TGNC (trans and gender nonconforming) people.” As a housing organization that believes “everyone deserves a decent place to live,” they are recognizing their responsibility towards these issues. We will be working with other members of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities on this project. The build is part of Habitat’s Weavers Grove project in Chapel Hill which, when finished, will be a 238-home mixed income community. Habitat OC will be providing breakfast, lunch and tee-shirts.

Date: Saturday, February 10
Time: 8:30am–12 Noon
Location: Chapel Hill, NC. (Exact location will be provided by the team leader (Todd) shortly before the project date.)

We are limited to 10 volunteers for this project and we expect it to fill up quickly.  Please do not register unless you are pretty certain you will be able to attend. 

No prior experience is necessary; the project is open to folks 18 years old and above.
