Please join Gay For Good DC and Wreaths Across America, hosted by National Capital Area Mountaineers, at 8:30 AM on Saturday, December 15, at Arlington National Cemetery for the laying of Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

What: Laying Remembrance Wreaths in Arlington National Cemetery

When: Saturday, December 15, 2018

  • 8:30 AM – Arrive and Check-in with G4G-DC at the McClellan Arch
  • 9:00 AM – Brief opening ceremony at the McClellan Arch within the cemetery grounds and general wreath placement begins.

Where: Arlington National Cemetery – 1 Memorial Ave., Arlington, VA 22211

PARKING: Due to the number of volunteers expected, volunteers are strongly encouraged to utilize the Metro system since parking at the ANC garage will be very restrictive to those with ANC Family passes and/or valid handicap permits. General public parking will be available at the North Parking Lot of the Pentagon where there will be Metro Shuttle buses to take volunteers to the Cemetery’s South Gate for screening and entry to the grounds. Also, if the Rosslyn Metro Station is utilized, there will be Metro Shuttle buses there to take volunteers to the entrance gate.

NOTE: Please dress warmly – this is an outdoor event.
