WHERE: Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock Visitor Center (1 Portland Avenue, 55401 Minneapolis)
Parking in the parking lots will be on a first come, first served basis. If you’re driving, please park in the upper lot just next to the entrance to the Stone Arch Bridge. We will meet near the entrance to the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam Visitor Center.
ABOUT: We will be helping the National Park Service do habitat restoration activities. That includes; planting, removing invasive species and caring for native species.
WHAT TO BRING:
- A full water bottle for drinking
- Sun screen, sun glasses
- Close toed shoes
Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service will provide all tools and gloves. We carry a first aid kit and are within easy access of major thoroughfares.
