Join G4G Twin Cities as we support Gala Choruses Festival in Minneapolis July 10-14.

GALA Choruses Festival will gather about 7,000 singers from 122 choruses this summer in Minneapolis. This is just a portion of the more than 15,000 singers and nearly 200 LGBTQ+ choruses in North America and beyond who make up GALA Choruses. Festival 2024 choirs will perform at world-class venues in downtown Minneapolis including Orchestra Hall, The Minneapolis Convention Center, and Central Lutheran Church.

G4G Twin Cities has secured two shifts on July 12 to support the event with ushering responsibilities at the Convention Center.

Time:  Shift 1: 9:30 am – 11:30 am. Shift 2: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
Location: Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2^nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN

Additional Details:

• Training/instruction will be provided on-site
• Attire: Summer Business Casual.  No shorts or jeans. Light layers recommended with A/C
• Parking: A variety of parking options are available, if driving. Parking at Central Lutheran Church may be most cost-effective.

About our Partner: GALA Choruses, Inc.  was incorporated on July 26, 1983. Our beginnings can be traced back to 1975 with formation of Philadelphia’s Anna Crusis Women’s Choir, followed in rapid succession by the formation the Stonewall Chorale, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, and choruses in New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Vancouver and other cities.
