G4G SF + Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center | April 22, 2023

Rescheduled from last month! G4G San Francisco Is Excited to Be Back at the Pomeroy Center! 

Join G4G San Francisco for a second April 2023 service project as we partner with the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center.

The Pomeroy Center is a San Francisco nonprofit that operates as a community center for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic and acquired brain injuries.

What: We’ll be outside helping the Center with a garden spring clean-up. Gardening materials and gloves will be provided.

When: April 22, 2023, 9am – 12pm.

Registration starts at 8:45am, followed by an introduction to Pomeroy and open circle introductions.

Where: Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center, 207 Skyline Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94132.

There is plenty of parking onsite. The volunteer site can also be accessed via public transportation or ride share app.

What to Wear: Clothes you don’t mind getting messy, closed-toe shoes, and a hat are recommended as we’ll be outside gardening.

Volunteers Needed: Space is limited to 25 people.

Optional Lunch: Join us for lunch after the event at a nearby cafe.

If you register for the event and are then unable to join us, please let us know by emailing sanfrancisco@gayforgood.org. This will allow us to open your space up to someone else, maximizing the good we do with our partnering organization!
