G4G SAN DIEGO + USS Midway Museum 05/14/2023

Get ready volunteers we are going back aboard the USS Midway! We are proud to partner with our friends at the USS Midway Museum cleaning and restoring the aircraft carrier in preparation for museum tours. With our support, we will help maintain and prepare the legendary aircraft carrier for visitors from all over the world. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while learning about the incredible history behind the longest-serving aircraft carrier.

Date: Sunday, May 14
Time:  8:30am to 11:00am
Location: 910 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego CA 92101

Meeting Location: Everyone should meet at Brow 5 (the first set of stairs as you approach the ship from Harbor Drive).

Parking:  Parking meters are located all along Harbor Drive.  ACE parking is located in front of the museum, they charge $10 per car.

Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.

Additional Details:

• Face coverings must be worn by unvaccinated volunteers
• Casual and comfortable clothing
• Closed toe shoes are required
• Sun protection is encouraged
• Bring water
• Limited to 25 volunteers
• Must be 18 years or older
