G4G San Diego + San Diego Parks and Recreation Event
November 2, 2024
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Let’s get out in nature! Join us as we partner with our friends at San Diego Parks & Recreation to plant trees! The County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation initiated a tree planting program to expand the tree canopy in the region. Through this program, heritage trees are documented and protected, damaged and diseased trees are treated and/or removed, healthy native saplings are planted. They will give us guidance on how to plant trees so that the trees will live a long and healthy life. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors and give back to our planet!
