Join us to show our appreciation for those that serve our country. In honor of Veterans Day, we will be writing Thank You cards for Operation Gratitude at Uptown Tavern. Operation Gratitude includes handwritten letters in every Care Package sent to our Deployed Troops, Recruit Graduates, Veterans, Wounded Heroes, and First Responders. In these unprecedented times, our heroes need our unwavering support. Taking the time to put pen to paper and share your heartfelt thoughts can be what motivates them to keep moving forward in their duties to our nation and show our appreciation.
In addition to the Service Project, we’ll be hosting a G4G Social! A big thank you to Uptown Tavern for graciously hosting this fantastic event. Come by anytime throughout the evening to write heartfelt cards, enjoy food and drinks, and meet new friends!
Important Information for Every Volunteer to Know
Event Date: Thursday, November 7
Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Location: 1236 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103
Parking: There is no designated parking. There are parking meters around the building that range from 1 hour to 2 hours and cost $1.25/hour.
Volunteers are welcome to use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.

- Face coverings are encouraged to be worn
- Casual and comfortable clothing
- Food and beverages are available for purchase
