With warmer weather coming soon, we are excited to get back to more outdoor volunteer activities!  G4G will partner with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, the US Forest Service and the Roaring Fork Conservancy for a day of trail maintenance on Glenwood’s Jess Weaver trail.

Date: Saturday, May 22nd

Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

Location: We’ll meet at the Glenwood Springs Rest Area, exit 119 (No Name exit) off of I-70

Additional Details: The Grizzly Creek burn scar where we will work is about a 3-4 miles hike in.  So, it will be an 8 mile hike plus 5-6 hours of labor. Participants should dress in layers and hiking boots.  Expect to get muddy!  Bring plenty of water and snacks.  We will also be following CDC Covid guidelines so please be prepared to bring a mask.  Lunch will be provided by Gay For Good.  We have a maximum of 10 volunteer spots for this event.
