G4G Raleigh-Durham + Raleigh Parks & Recreation

Join us as we get “down & dirty” to help Raleigh Parks & Rec. set up for their Mud Day event at The Wetland Center at Walnut Creek Park. Mud Day will involve fun activities which connect children to nature, mud, education on wetlands, history of the Center at Walnut Creek Park and the center’s connection to the social justice movement started by Partners for Environmental Education.

WHEN: Saturday, August 20; 8:30-10:00 AM

WHERE: Wetland Center at Walnut Creek Park
950 Peterson Street, Raleigh

DUTIES: Moving and setting up materials to the various exhibit stations

This project is limited to 10 Volunteers and open to anyone 18 years old and above. Spaces tend to fill up quickly, so please do not sign up unless you are fairly certain you will be able to attend.

We will be following whatever COVID guidelines are in place at the time. After we are through, we can grab coffee somewhere or perhaps participate in the main event! The G4G project leader will contact you with more details as the date draws near.
