G4G Denver and Denver Parks & Rec Team Up for Another Cleanup!

Join G4G Denver for a sunny morning of weeding and debris removal at Globeville Landing Park! Bring your sunscreen, your gloves, your snacks, and your queer determination to the park for a fun day of cleanup and community. Possible Mockery Brewing hang post-event!

Date: Sunday, August 14
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Location: 3901 Arkins Ct, Denver 80216 (Meet at the playground – north end of park.)

Project tasks: Weeding and debris removal.

Project Leads: Ben Gunderson
Volunteers Needed: 15+
Age restrictions: Open to all! (Children must be supervised at all times.)

What to bring:

• Work gloves
• Water
• Sunscreen
• Sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes)
• Hat is recommended

Other DP&R Guidelines:

• COVID
  • Please stay home if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath.  We also recommend that those who are immunocompromised or otherwise at a higher health risk stay home.
  • Maintain physical distancing of at least 6’ from other workers when possible.
  • Masks are no longer required outdoors, but they are recommended for higher risk individuals and when working in very close proximity to others.
  • Practice good hygiene.  Don’t touch your face.  Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds – or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.
  • Avoid sharing tools if possible.  If you must share tools, wear gloves. Clean and sanitize tools when possible.
• All children must be supervised.
• Please do not bring pets!
