Our G4G Columbus volunteer team will be helping the museum with a mix of assembling boxes for the Thurber House Prize judging process, landscaping, folding museum brochures, removing recycling, and helping to reorganize the interior space. After our volunteer shift, a docent will take us on a free tour of the museum!

Parking:

  • On Jefferson Avenue: Easy street parking is available all along the Jefferson Avenue oval. Parking is free, with a three-hour limit, between 8:00 am–6:00 pm.
  • Off 11th Street (behind Thurber House): Free visitor parking is available in the small lot directly behind Thurber House, accessible off 11th Street and located here.

Be prepared to be outside doing yard work for part of our shift and a water bottle will come in handy, other tasks may be indoors.
