Our team will be helping the Junior League of Columbus make blankets to be included in ‘starting home kits’ donated to young adults who age out of foster care and My Very Own Blanket. There will be a lot of handwork involved in this activity.

This event will be taking place at the Kelton House Museum & Garden. For those interested, the staff of the Kelton House will offer free tours of the 1800s underground railroad museum.

Parking: Convenient and free parking is available in the Museum lot, one street north on Franklin Avenue near the corner of Lester Drive. A garden path from Franklin Avenue to the Museum is available. Visitors authorized to use disabled parking may use the Kelton House driveway. About our partner: The Junior League of Columbus was founded in 1923. From its original 11 founding members, led by their first JLC President, Mrs. Rolland M. Edmonds, the Junior League of Columbus has grown to nearly 400+ members today. Since 1923, the Junior League of Columbus has been actively improving the community and training volunteers who make a difference in the lives of others.
