Join G4G Columbus to Carve Pumpkins at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Volunteer with us as we help the Conservatory prep for their annual month-long Pumpkins Aglow guest experience!
This family-friendly series includes bewitching scenes and spooky surprises, occurring Wednesday through Sunday every week of October. During the month, the Conservatory’s grounds will be illuminated with more than a thousand pumpkins carved by staff, Conservatory members, and volunteers, including us!
Volunteer participants in the carving sessions will also be allowed to tour the conservatory following their shift at no charge.
Each group will be given a pumpkin carving style. All tools needed to carve, including templates, will be provided. Volunteers will be responsible for both gutting and carving their pumpkins, so all participants should dress to get dirty!

What To Wear/Bring: Closed-toed shoes are required for all volunteers. Dress to get dirty.
