Help a local community church in Chicago’s South Suburbs distribute food to those in need. You’ll be helping area residents sign up for food pantry services, carrying boxes of food to cars, and assisting with other needs that arise throughout the afternoon.
Date: Tuesday, July 11
Time: 2pm–6pm
Location: 15245 Loomis Ave., Harvey, IL 60426 (Street parking is available.)
Additional Information: Open for volunteers 18+. Pantry entrance is at the back alley of the church of E. 153rd St. between Loomis Ave. & Lexington Ave. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
About Our Partner: St. Clement’s is a church in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago located in Harvey, IL and has been serving the Episcopalian community and residents in Harvey and the South Suburbs since 1898. St. Clement’s Food Pantry is open every Tuesday afternoon.
