G4G Chicago + Edgewater Dog Park | May 11, 2024

Join G4G Chicago as we partner with Edgewater Dog Park to freshen up the park for our four-legged friends. Volunteers will be re-mulching the dog park, we will be carrying wheel-barrels and using shovels to spread the mulch across the park so the pups have a nice surface to play on.

Time: 10am–Noon
Location: 5800 N DuSable Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60660

Transportation: Volunteers are encouraged to utilize transit, walking or biking to get to the project location. Parking is not available at the project site, so if traveling by car, volunteers will have to either park on streets in the adjacent neighborhood or in parking lots in the park that are over half a mile away from the project site.

Volunteers should wear pants and close-toed shoes that can get dirty, and bring a shovel (if you have one) to help spread mulch. There is a place to pull over and drop your shovel off at the project location prior to parking your vehicle.

Age Requirement: 16+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
