G4G Chicago + Alliance for the Great Lakes | May 4, 2024

Join G4G Chicago to volunteer with Alliance for the Great Lakes! We’ll be removing litter (about 85% of which is plastic) from Hollywood-Ardmore/Kathy Osterman Beach, helping keep the Lake Michigan shoreline healthy, safe, and beautiful.

Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: 10am–Noon
Location: 5800 N DuSable Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60660 (meet at Kathy Osterman Beach House)

Transportation: Volunteers are encouraged to utilize transit, walking or biking to get to the project location. Parking is not available at the project site, so if traveling by car, volunteers will have to either park on streets in the adjacent neighborhood or in parking lots in the park that are over half a mile away from the project site.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable, close-toed shoes, sunscreen, and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Age Requirement: 16+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
