About Our Partner: Since 1972, The Prison Book Program (PBP) provides donated books and other reading material to incarcerated people. PBP believes education is a powerful tool that reduces the likelihood of a prisoner returning to the prison system. PBP’s goals are to encourage literacy by filling requests for books and other educational materials.
