ABOUT: National Braille Press is the premier braille publisher in the US specializing in producing original braille works written by blind authors expressly for blind people. A Million Laughs for Literacy is National Braille Press’ annual gala to support braille literacy.
After holding a fully remote Annual Gala in 2020, the National Braille Press is hosting an in person Gala this year and needs 5 more volunteers.
In the past, G4G volunteers have helped with live auction and other tasks at the gala.
Dress code is business professional: skirts or dress slacks for women, blazers or ties with dress pants for men, no jeans, no sneakers. No need to eat before arriving. You will be served dinner.
