G4G Boston + GLAD Ptown Party | July 22

Gay For Good Boston is honored to support, GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) at their 42nd Annual Summer Party in Provincetown, MA. Your participation in this event will help GLAD raise awareness and funds that support their mission of helping our community by defending the legal rights of GLBTQ people. Last year, our chapter’s volunteers had an essential role in the success of the Summer Party. The day involved some hard work and lots of fun including the round-trip ferry from Boston Harbor to Provincetown.

Who: GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), is a non-profit legal advocacy organization that works to end discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and HIV/AIDS status.

When: Saturday, July 22, 2023

Where: Pilgrim Monument, Provincetown, MA

Time/Place: Volunteers must arrive for the ferry at 8:00 AM at 1 Long Wharf, Boston, MA 02110.

The return ferry will depart Provincetown at 8:00 PM from MacMillan Pier Provincetown, MA.

If you are already planning on being in Ptown and want to volunteer at this fun event, please let us know! The active volunteer time will be roughly 1pm – 7pm.

Tasks: There are going to be volunteer positions such as catering, Bartenders, Kids Tent, Registration, Silent Auction Monitors, Checkout, Clean-up

Perks: Free Round-Trip Ferry Ticket, Complimentary GLAD T-Shirt, Lunch and Dinner (we will be sending you a survey to determine your t-shirt size and to determine dietary restrictions).
