G4G Boston + FriendshipWorks
May 18, 2025
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
FriendshipWorks are hosting their annual Elderbration and 10th Annual Walk to End Elder Isolation while celebrating their 40th anniversary! Our team of G4G volunteers will be there to help with logistics and making sure people have a great time while raising awareness and funds to end elder isolation in the Greater Boston area!
Volunteers will be busy supporting check-in and guiding participants as teams of walkers arrive, distributing breakfast, cheering on walkers along the route, handing out a sweet treat to returning walkers, and assisting with clean-up to help wrap up another successful Elderbration and Walk to End Elder Isolation!
Date: Sunday, May 18
Time: 9 AM – 1 PM
Location: The Rogerson House, 434 Jamaicaway, Jamaica Plain
Transport and Parking Information: Parking is being provided at The Curley School, 40 Pershsing Road, just a few blocks away. (Ignore the tow zone signs at the school, volunteers have been given permission to park there for the event.) There is also limited street parking along Centre Street. You can also reach the location via the Route 39 bus. For transit directions, click here.
