Slip into your dancing shoes and come out and volunteer at the 35th Annual Chandler Street Block Party for Boston Pride!
When: Saturday, June 10 | 12pm – 8pm (Pick one of 3 volunteer shifts!)
Where: 26 Chandler Street, Boston, MA
About: Boston Proud hosts events and activities intend to celebrate the victories achieved in the battle for LGBTQ+ rights and to acknowledge the lack of equity still confronted by members of our community today. This June, they have selected Gay for Good as their non-profit beneficiary to receive a portion of the funds that they raise at this year’s events.
The Block Party is fun and popular time to dance to the beats of DJ Maryalice for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community!
What: Volunteers are needed to help set up and act as security – checking ids, bags, and tickets – at the entrance of the block, and helping with some clean up.
Each shift is 3 hours long so that folks can also have time to enjoy the party!
Volunteers: 10 volunteer slots are available for each shift
