G4G Philly + Books Through Bars | January 20, 2024

Books Through Bars (BTB) receives hundreds of book requests from incarcerated individuals each year. For this event, we will be reading some of those letters, choosing books from the BTB library that are a best match, and then packing them with encouraging notes.  Join us for a great afternoon making good.

If you have any queer books around that you are willing to part with, please bring a queer book (or a few) to be donated!

Date: Saturday, January 20
Time: 1:30–3:30pm
Location: 4722 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143 (There is a Philly free parking lot right next to the organization.)

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age and older

About Our Partner: Books Through Bars has been sending free books to incarcerated people in six mid-Atlantic states (Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia) for over 30 years.
