G4G SAN FRANCISCO + EASTER IN THE PARK

Who: G4G San Francisco + The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Easter in the Park

What: Join G4G San Francisco at Easter in the Park for our April service event. We’ll be spending Sunday helping The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence with their 40th Anniversary celebration in San Francisco’s Dolores Park. This is a new and exciting opportunity for us – the first time we’re partnering with The Sisters. Given the complexity of the festivities, we expect a little chaos and a ton of fun!

When: Sunday, April 21, in two shifts:

• VOLUNTEER TEAM ONE: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm — Hospitality Booths
  The team will be backstage, supporting two hospitality booths that have snacks and drink available to those taking to the stage.
• VOLUNTEER TEAM TWO:  Noon to 4:00 pm — Park Field Ambassadors
  The team will be out in the park in groups, handing out swag, answering questions and encouraging attendees to keep the park clean.

We will try to manage rotations, so all members have a chance to participate in both teams. Please be prompt for your shift!

Where: Look out for the Gay For Good banner at North lawn of Dolores Park. Dolores Park is located at Dolores St & 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94114. We’ll provide more specific details closer to the day.

Space is limited and we expect the event to fill up quickly.

We are fortunate to be able to support The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence with their 40th Anniversary. Because of the fun nature and activities taking place, we won’t have a separate social after the event.
