Gay For Good San Diego is once again proud to partner with San Diego Frontrunners to hand out water at their water station at the corner of 6th and Elm in Banker’s Hill. Tasks include set up, passing out water and sports drinks, and throwing out cups. All volunteers who RSVP to Dave Weir (dhweir@gmail.com) with their t-shirt size (unisex shirts are adult, sizes small to XL) before August 8th will get a free t-shirt (t-shirts tend to run slightly small).
WHEN: Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 6:30 am to 9:30 am
WHERE: 6th and Elm in San Diego (use 1860 Sixth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101)
WHO: All G4G San Diego volunteers are welcome! This event is open to everyone of all ages, abilities, gender identities, and gender expressions. We ask that you sign a G4G San Diego waiver and release (which will be provided for you) before your volunteer shift begins. We will also take a group photo.
WHAT: Join us as we pass out water to runners at the AFC Half Marathon. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and sunscreen or a hat. Coffee and carbs will be provided to all volunteers.
